BIO

Chris Behrndt is an estate planning attorney and partner at Thomas Walters, PLLC. Chris is currently licensed in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Washington State.

Chris has helped clients throughout Georgia establish their perfect, individualized estate plans. In addition to her Rutledge and Eatonton offices, Chris has satellite offices in Peachtree City, Suwanee, Buckhead, Roswell, and Hoschton.

Chris routinely deals with probate law, prepares simple and complex estate plans, disability legal documents, as well as, conservatorships and guardianship suits. Chris is a distinguished speaker on estate planning, and is committed to helping you understand that the foundation of estate planning is not just about helping your family avoid probate. Chris can help you plan for potential incapacities, help you make it easier on your loved ones when that time comes, help you plan for federal estate tax savings, help your family avoid nursing home poverty, and help your family plan ahead to keep 100% of what you have worked your whole life to save as a legacy for your family.

Chris was born and raised outside of Seattle Washington. Before graduating from The University of Georgia School of Law, Chris received multiple degrees in the field of dentistry, and spent many years practicing in the dental field. For nearly 20 years, Chris also owned a property investment company, a property management company, and a real estate firm. However, Chris’s only focus now is on her passion, which is Estate Planning.

Chris and her family live in Newton County Georgia, on a chicken farm. She is married to a dentist who practices in Rutledge Georgia, and they have seven children, ages 6 to 21. When not working, Chris enjoys family time, raising German Shorthair hunting dogs, entertaining, and doing anything that consists of enjoying the Georgia weather.
